Surrounded by coconut palms and tropical landscapes, Utara Villas is a luxury villa retreat in Gili Trawangan designed to capture the relaxed spirit of island living. We contributed furniture and interior elements that complement the property’s natural materials, open-air architecture, and warm contemporary atmosphere.
The project combines Indonesian-inspired design with modern comfort, creating private villa spaces that feel tranquil, welcoming, and deeply connected to their tropical surroundings.
Located in the quiet northern area of Gili Trawangan, Utara Villas was designed as a private tropical retreat that blends contemporary comfort with the warmth and character of Indonesian island living. Surrounded by coconut trees and positioned close to the island’s white sand beaches, the project embraces open-air living, natural materials, and relaxed hospitality throughout the property.
We contributed selected furniture and interior elements across the villas, carefully curating pieces that enhance the resort’s calm and welcoming atmosphere. Natural wood finishes, woven textures, stone accents, and soft neutral tones were used throughout the interiors to create spaces that feel elegant while remaining comfortable and approachable.
The villas were designed with spacious open layouts that connect indoor living areas directly to private terraces, pools, and outdoor lounge spaces. Bedrooms emphasize warmth and tranquility through handcrafted details, natural materials, and carefully balanced furnishings that complement the tropical setting.
Outdoor environments play an essential role within the overall experience of the property, with poolside seating, open dining areas, and relaxed lounge spaces designed to encourage rest and connection with nature. The combination of local architectural influences and contemporary design creates a refined yet laid-back atmosphere across the resort.
