Nestled within the lush jungle landscape of Ubud, Villa Joyia reflects a refined balance between contemporary architecture and tropical living. We curated furnishings and interior elements that complement the villa’s dramatic open spaces, natural surroundings, and sophisticated architectural character.
The result is a luxurious yet welcoming retreat where natural materials, warm textures, and thoughtfully designed living spaces come together in harmony with the surrounding environment.
Surrounded by the lush jungle hillsides of Ubud, Villa Joyia was designed as a contemporary tropical retreat where architecture and nature exist in seamless harmony. The villa embraces open living, expansive glass elements, and layered spaces that maximize natural light, panoramic views, and a strong connection to the surrounding landscape.
Our contribution focused on furnishing and enhancing key living spaces throughout the villa, carefully selecting furniture, lighting, and decorative elements that complement its refined architectural identity. Natural wood finishes, handcrafted textures, stone materials, and warm earthy tones were used to create interiors that feel sophisticated, calm, and deeply connected to Bali’s natural atmosphere.
The bedrooms were designed as private sanctuaries overlooking the jungle canopy, combining comfort with understated elegance through soft textures, ambient lighting, and carefully balanced detailing. Shared living and dining spaces encourage gathering and relaxation while maintaining openness and visual continuity across the villa.
One of the defining features of the project is the villa’s dramatic pool and elevated jacuzzi area, positioned within the tropical landscape to create an immersive and tranquil experience. Outdoor terraces, lounge areas, and open-air transitions further reinforce the villa’s relationship with nature, allowing the surrounding environment to shape the atmosphere of each space.
Villa Joyia reflects our approach to furnishing contemporary tropical residences with warmth, elegance, and thoughtful detail, creating interiors that balance luxury, comfort, and the beauty of Bali’s natural surroundings.
